Bavarian-born and raised Eva Mueller, made New York her home in 1990. Mueller completed University of Applies Sciences for Art and Design in Germany.Her previous studies and experience in graphic design and visual fine art, evolved into her career in photography.

After a short stint as an art director for a major record label Mueller transitioned into fashion and music photography. Her education and experience in graphic design and art direction led to her iconic minimal style and composition, sometimes paired with an unusual twist that elicits a startled double take. During that period Mueller worked for most big record labels in the US and the UK shooting a great number of the most renown DJs, many of the top design studios in London and her fashion work was published in major magazines on both sides of the Atlantic.

In the last decade Mueller immersed herself into fine art and conceptual photography and video work.

The core of our human existence and the naked body is the focus of Muellers recent work. Her latest projects take a deeper look into gender identity and race. Her upcoming solo show “Flowers & Chocolate” is challenging the viewers perception regarding, beauty, taboos, racism and sexuality.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries in the US, London, Germany, France, Brazil and China.
